About Us

Hi! My name is Camila, my pronouns are she/her and they/them, I’m almost 17 years old, and I’m currently a junior at Santa Cruz High. I was born in Santa Cruz, and have lived here my whole life. I’m very grateful to have grown up here, as I’ve always felt the support and presence of the strong queer community here. Feeling safe and supported allowed me to branch out and develop hobbies like hiking and skateboarding. It also allowed me to express myself creatively through my art and music. I recognize how lucky I am to not have to hide who I am, and I hope by creating this website I can help other queer youth feel safe enough to be their authentic selves. P.S., I hope you, the user of this site, remembers to be kind to yourself today, and be safe :).
My name is Reyes and my pronouns are he/they. I am a high school student from the Santa Cruz mountains. I am queer, indigenous, and autistic. I really enjoy the ocean and spend a lot of time at the beach. In the future I plan to study either marine biology or ecology. My main focus right now is on decolonizing and social issues regarding queer people. In my free time though I play video games, bead, and listen to music.

My name is Marie, and I’m 18. I spent sixteen years in an uncultured, uninformed environment and didn’t learn what sexuality was until I was 13. I moved to Santa Cruz about a year ago and now spend a good deal of time helping educate my friends and family about my asexuality and other sexualities and identities in the community. One of my favorite pastimes is writing, and I hope to one day share my writing with the world in a way that’s all-inclusive of different genders, sexualities, and races. I helped start this website because I knew that it was something I would have loved to have had access to when I was younger and hope to share it as a resource in the future for those who are like me.
